More than a website

One program, three ways in

schools.fit is Raincity Athletics' youth program for schools. The free resources are the starting point; the coaching around them is where it grows.

Who's behind this

Simon, aka Coach Thor

Owner and head coach of Raincity Athletics in Vancouver, a Behaviour Interventionist working with kids on the autism spectrum, and President of the Canadian Functional Fitness Federation. He has spent more than a decade teaching the same simple movement principles to elite competitors and to eight-year-olds — and built schools.fit so teachers and parents can do the same.

  • Movement is medicine — when we function better, we feel better.
  • Patterns over perfection — push, pull, squat, hinge, carry.
  • Two 30-minute sessions a week is enough to change a kid.
  • If they leave excited to come back, you've already won.
